He who is the jester-in-exile, Pierre Tito Galla in the real world, is an early-thirties engineer by training and profession, an advocate of civil and political rights, and a staunch believer in the phrase "education is freedom". Born and bred in the Cordillera, he has become a person with no qualms about expressing his views and feelings about issues in the way he feels is most appropriate. The jester-in-exile dreams of the Philippines attaining the status of a secular, egalitarian, and democratic republic, and believes strongly in justice and law.

His personal views on anything and everything can be found on The Journal of The Jester-in-Exile, and can be sometimes found writing for Filipino Voices. Online, he can be found usually found on a soapbox in Plurk mirrored on Twitter.

For the 2010 electoral exercise, the jester-in-exile has made a personal call the online public to declare their choice of candidates, but envisions his engagement with Blog Watch to be issue-based commentary, limiting his candidate and party endorsements and criticisms on his personal blog. The jester-in-exile has committed to his readership that he will not write any endorsement or opposition posts on Blog Watch or any collaborative blogs he belongs to, nor will he write any praise posts or criticisms of candidates and political parties on these collaborative blogs.

The jester-in-exile's call for sample ballots has begun with support for Susan "Toots" Ople; he envisions that he will have a complete slate at least before the week before Election Day.
