On their way home, Jasmine looks outside the car window and thinks she sees her father. But when she confronts the man, disappointingly, he is not who she is looking for. After Jasmine and Nico leave the scene, it turns out that Jasmine's father is just hiding behind a corner and has no plan to tell Jasmine his whereabouts just yet. Because of this incident, Jasmine tells her grievances to Nico and Nico in return sympathizes with her story.

When Jasmine returned home, angrily she is approached by Julian, looking as if he is a jealous boyfriend. He gets mad, accusing Jasmine of being a gold digger, and the two again get into an argument. Jasmine then walks out on Julian. About to pour her heart out, she decides to toughen up after thinking about her father.

Don Greg is released from the hospital the next day due to his fast recovery. When they arrive home, Jasmine is requested to stay with them in the house, conflicting with what she and Julian had originally planned. Adding to their worry is Greg's request to meet Jasmine's father, which they had lied about, telling Greg that he is attending business matters in Japan.
