Myrna Rodriguez Co, who blogs under the name Annamanila, is a 66-year old retiree from the University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries, where she worked for 40 years as researcher/writer/editor/publications officer.  She has to her name over 50 books, manuals, and periodicals on small business and entrepreneurship development, including the UP centennial casebook series entitled, Dreamers, Doers, Risk-takers (Vol. 1-4) and the Small Entreprenews, a quarterly journal which won an Anvil Award for outstanding external publication given by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

Today, her blogsite at ode2old.blogspot.com is widely regarded as a source of inspiration for older people to walk the “final miles” with hope, cheerfulness, and abiding sense of awe and wonder as well as to welcome new experiences, take up second careers, and embrace new technology.

Now a freelance editor and writer, she regularly contributes articles to the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Her book “In Another Dress,” a compilation of selected stories and essays from her blogsite, published by Extempo Publications, was launched last November.
