Thanksgiving Run and Mass for and with Gen. Danny Lim

8:00 a.m. Quezon Circle, East Avenue Gate

After two imprisonments, I thought I had suffered enough for my country and people. I am humbled to meet a man who does not hesitate, in fact has not hesitated, to suffer more for his country and people. I salute Gen. Danny Lim, a fellow inmate, fellow Filipino, friend, and brother. I thank God for the gift of sharing a cell with Danny for three days and jail for sixteen days. Those sixteen days are just two weeks and two days but they seem a long time, almost a lifetime. Up to this very day, I continue to cherish the lessons taught me by what I ironically call “Days of Freedom.”
