auring_3pm_5_jan.jpg Tropical depression Auring, the first storm to visit the Philippines in 2009, has shifted course and is on its way out of the country as of noon on Monday, according to abs-cbnnews.com. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration lowered all public storm signals as Auring followed a path northeast, though the state weather forecaster warned that the Bicol region and parts of the Visayas will still experience rains and wind, reported gmanews.tv.
