Miami Heat scored its third consecutive win on Wednesday as it edged the Charlotte Bobcats 96-95 on Wednesday, thanks to Dwayne Wade’s bank shot in the dying seconds of the game.
Wade’s winning jumper was backed up by the hot performance of LeBron James who finished with 35 points and Chris Bosh who scored 25 points.
Miami trailed by one point behind Bobcats after Gerald Henderson sank a three-pointer with 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Coming from the timeout, the Heat had Wade driving to the basket, scoring over Henderson with a difficult jumper with 2.9 seconds left.
Bobcat’s D.J. Anderson threw a three-pointer in the final possession but only hit the glass, while D.J. White’s hasty putback at the buzzer just rolled out of the rim.
