Bishop Pabillo kasama sa nabasa ng water cannon sa Batasan

Sumugod sa harap ng Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City ang mga magsasaka na pinamumunuan ni Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo upang hingiin pa ang pagpapalawig ng Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. Ang kanilang balak na makinig sa plenaryo ay naudlot dahil sinalubong sila ng malakas na water cannon.

Ang may mahigit 1,000 mga magsasaka ay nagmula pa sa Bukidnon, Calatagan, Batangas at probinsya Camarines Sur. Ang extension ng CARP ay matatapos sa darating ng Hunyo taong kasalukuyan.
