E-mailActress Nora Aunor revealed on Friday that she will go overseas to seek medical treatment for her vocal cords.
During the opening night of the 2011 Cinemanila Film Festival in Taguig, Aunor said that she will undergo surgery in a hospital in Massachussets in the United States in January next year to fix her vocal cords.
Aunor reportedly lost her “golden voice” after she had cosmetic surgery cosmetic surgery in Japan in March last year.
ABS-CBN News reports that she is optimistic she will regain her voice after the surgery.
The singer-actress has been given an achievement award during opening of Cinemanila Friday for her contributions in the Philippine film industry.
