Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo tie the knot

Celebrity couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are now officially husband and wife. Officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in San Juan, Batangas at around 7 a.m. this morning.

The couple, who have been engaged for one year, said their "I dos" in an intimate ceremony with family and close friends. Some of the star guests spotted were Sharon Cuneta (matron of honor), Sen. Francis Pangilinan, KC Concepcion, Suzy Entrata (godmother), Paolo Abrera, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Agot Isidro, and directors Joyce Bernal and Rory Quintos.

Local residents and fans swarmed the area last night after the couple were spotted making some preparations. According to abscbnnews.com, "the couple decided to marry at daybreak to signal the new start in their lives as a married couple." Reports say that Paul Cabral designed Santos's gown and Agoncillo's suit.

The ceremony lasted for an hour. The guests then proceeded to a resort for a breakfast reception. Gmanews.tv reported that a second reception for other guests from Manila will happen this evening.

Agoncillo proposed to Santos last year on her 30^th birthday. The couple announced their engagement one month later, but they have successfully kept the wedding date a secret. Rumors of the weddding happening in early May, until the couple surprised the whole country with the Batangas wedding news this morning. Santos said in an SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon report that they are planning go to Mexico for their honeymoon.

The two bankable actors, who have worked together in movies Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo and TV series Krystala will be in an upcoming teleserye project with ABS-CBN called George and Cecil.
