The war of opinions has again taken itself to Twitter, mutating into a social networking spoof.
Instead of venting about the outcome of the recently-concluded Vizconde Massacre case, an enterprising person (or a creative group of comics) has created fake accounts for Hubert Webb and Jessica Alfaro. Via Twitter, the two fake people carry on conversations with each other and their "followers," and air spicy revelations.
@iamhubertwebb's first post, dated December 14, at 12:19 p.m., proclaimed that he was "on way to Vira Mall to trade-in my beeper." His Twitter bio reads, "I'm freeeee! And fake."
User jessica_alfaro meanwhile, said "frak they freed that pasty sonuva @iamhubertwebb. time to ditch the ray bans" on December 14, at 10:04 p.m.
Other notable posts by @jessica_alfaro include:
- Can anybody ask @PublicityAsia to get me and @iamhubertwebb for the next Amazing Race Asia season? I'm good at being on the run.
- @iamhubertwebb dude. by any chance you still have the number of your old dealer?
@iamhubertwebb's posts play on his 15 years in prison, and his supposed ignorance of the "modern" world.
- Hey, they say I'm trending. Is that the new word for trendy? #HubertWebb
- Need to get to this Farmville. Do I have to pass through South Superhighway?
Among the most recent Twitter spoof crazes include the account @PCOSmachine, which was created by Yves Gonzalez when he got bored during the recent national elections.
@PCOSmachine's latest post, dated December 15, reads:
- People have been asking if I am tweeting for @iamhubertwebb. I am willing to answer that question... ... after 19 years.
