"I have never expressed the desire to
extend my term," said President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in her ninth State of

Arroyo also gave a piece of advice to those who would like to run for president: "If you want something done, do it hard, do it well. Don't pussyfoot. Just do it. Don't say bad words in public."
