I voted today at 9:30 a.m.
I visited two polling places. I visited the first at around 7:30 a.m., and all was well. The other one I went to was my precinct, where I voted at around 8:45. It was already quite crowded when I got there (Precinct 105B, Bgy. President Roxas, Iloilo CIty).
I was the 59th voter to cast a ballot, and I foresee the lines should thin out in the afternoon. It is a very, very hot day today though, and it's understandable if some people would be reluctant to go out (my parents haven't voted yet).
I had to insert the ballot in the PCOS machine twice. When it got rejected during my first try, I was advised that something may be wrong in the way I filled out my ballot. I then went back to my seat to check, changed nothing and tried again. It worked the second time.
The teachers in the polling places have all been very pleasant and professional so far. Good thing the heat hasn't affected their tempers.
