According to ABS-CBN, a precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machine has failed to function in Bunlo Elementary School in Bocaue, Bulacan.
The said machine has been tested to work on Sunday, reports one of the Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs), but it ceased to function when elections started at 7a.m.
The defective PCOS machine is to be brought to the municipal hall for replacement and elections will continue even without the machine. The BEI assigned to the area states that they will just feed the ballots when the replacement machines arrives and a manual audit can still be conducted in the event that a replacement machine cannot be delivered.
