If you could personally put ten people
in the Philippine national government in 2010, who would you choose?
The Philippine Online Chronicles, in partnership with COMELEC and Kubol Pag-asa, invites you to choose your 10 for 2010. Who are they? Would you choose someone who has already been in office, or someone who has not been elected before but who might make a difference? Would you look at a person's past record, or would you look at his promises? Would you choose someone from a political family, or someone with no background in politics? Would you choose the most popular candidate, or champion the underdog? Would you choose with an eye to personal gain, or to national welfare? It does not matter if that person is not a politician, or has not indicated a desire for candidacy. Do you think he will be able to make a difference?
Votes and nominations may be cast online through a Facebook application.
As a part of the 10 for 2010 campaign, the Philippine Online Chronicles will also be conducting monthly forums on relevant issues starting July 2009, aiming to facilitate political awareness and discourse on the community level. The forums will be moderated by Fr. Robert Reyes .
